Mission Statement
Antaeus Dance, Tremont’s Resident Dance Company, is a professional modern dance company that
- is dedicated to the creation and presentation of intelligent and well-crafted danceworks that address issues of human connection,
- strives for a closer connection with the audience through danceworks that celebrate the subtleties of individual expression and evoke the passion of humanity,
- fosters artistic collaboration and supports the choreographic endeavors of local dance artists,
- reaches out to the community with educational and artistic programs.
Antaeus Dance is a federally recognized 501(c)3 non-profit arts organization.
Antaeus Dance is comprised of six dance artists and educators who live and work in Cleveland, contributing to the vibrancy of our communities and the quality of life in Cleveland and beyond. The Company has collaborated with numerous other artists, including:
