MOLT

MOLT is an evening-length dancework exploring the transformation that results from stripping away undesirable habits and patterns to reveal the essence of the individual. The dancework is emerging from a collaborative process that includes individual and collective contributions from dancers, whose movement invention and energetic signature are an integral part of the complete work.

MOLT will premiere, in full, in the fall of 2008. Original music by Greg D’Alessio will be performed live. The dancers and musicians will inhabit a stunning set by visual artist James Longs that it both a concrete dwelling place for the performance and a metaphor for the beleaguered psyche.
