Yes…I Can(!) Dance is designed to bring the beauty, power and joy of dance to people with Parkinson’s Disease.
Antaeus Dance Director Joan Meggitt teaches dance classes for individual with Parkinson’s at InMotion, a nonprofit center in Warrensville Heights, OH devoted to the health and well-being of those affected by Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders. Begun by dance enthusiast, patron and dancewear maven Taffy Epstein, Yes…I Can(!) Dance offers dance classes for people with Parkinson’s on Thursdays from 10:00 t0 11:00am.
The classes are based on the Dance for PD ® program co-founded by the Mark Morris Dance Group and the Brooklyn Parkinson Group and led by founding instructor David Leventhal.
